'' BATTITO D’ALI '' earrings collection

SIMPLICITY IN ART, E’, IN GENERAL, A SOLVED COMPLEXITY (Costantin Brancusi)

I love art.
I live in a country with a great artistic and architectural heritage, and perhaps this has influenced my sensitivity towards everything that has an aesthetic value.

In particular, I began to approach contemporary art from a young age, with passionate attention to abstract art.

My interest goes above all to the artists who have managed to synthesize the spirit of our times with their works: Brancusi with his simplified sculptures down to their essence, Burri with its lands and combustions, Calder with his acrobatic and apparently childlike kinetic sculptures ...
The collection of earrings ”BEAT OF ALI” arises precisely from the observation of the sculptures of Costantin Brancusi, which I believe was a master in the synthesis of forms.

From one of his best known sculptures, '' BIRD IN THE SPACE '' my study of asymmetrical drop shapes begins, carved in various materials (ebony, ivory, mother of pearl) and developed in various extensions and sizes.
Each pair of these drops is accompanied by precious stones that with their transparencies and colors give liveliness and by yellow gold supports depicting stylized wings (a quote from the bird in flight) that elegantly wrap the lobe of the wearer.

Each part of these earrings is always handmade in my workshop and each pair of drops is different from the previous one.

All gold stands are hand forged in my workshop with traditional equipment, piece by piece, with ancient techniques, to obtain a unique jewel to elegantly adorn the one who will wear it.
