Ivory ''ICE AGE'' earrings’ .

Ivory, mammoth fossil, yellow gold.

The “ICE AGE” collection includes jewels (mainly ivory earrings) which I made by cutting mammouth ivory which is dug into the Siberian permafrost (dating back to the ice age) , and has from 10.000 a 100.000 years of age.

Fossil ivory’ it is free trade and does not require any certificate, as it does not belong to an endangered species.

Prospectors find it in parts of Siberia and Alaska, in the permafrost, the layer of frozen soil that thaws for a few months a year.

I purchase small fragments of fangs that have no archaeological value, but which I use to create jewelry and jewelry.

Thanks to the ductility of this material I created the "ICE ERA" collection of ivory earrings,  a series of earrings with free forms.

From the classic drops, but of unusual dimensions, with soft geometric shapes’ inspired by the lines of the 60s and 70s, and also to figures inspired by works of contemporary art.
