Description
Brooch in gold and ivory ”THIEF”
Yellow gold 18 k, black pearl, Mammouth fossil ivory section.
I continue my research on the engraving of different materials with this new pin depicting a small mouse that gnaws a piece of cheese.
The collection "ICE AGE" It includes jewels that I made by coupon mammouth ivory which is dug into the Siberian permafrost (dating back to the ice age) , and has from 10.000 a 100.000 years of age. The 'fossil' ivory is free trade and does not require any certificate, as it does not belong to an endangered species. Prospectors find it in parts of Siberia and Alaska, in the permafrost, the layer of frozen soil that thaws for a few months a year. I purchase small fragments of fangs that have no archaeological value, but what I use to create jewelry and jewelry.
Made with a delicious Baroque freshwater pearl of fresh water, finished with two large ears and a long tail in 750/°° gold, My mouse is laid on a base made of ivory carefully engraved as a triangular slice of Swiss cheese, with its different holes, and slightly gnawed by mouse teeth.
I then completed this jewel with a double gold pin on the back, always in yellow gold, To be able to wear it safely.
I made everything, sculpture and goldsmiths, in my laboratory with the help of traditional manual tools, With ancient techniques and a lot of passion.
In homage with this gold and ivory pin I will send a leather cord with golden finishes to be able to immediately wear it.
Like all my jewelry, I will send the pin ”THIEF” accompanied by an appropriate gift box and certificate of guarantee and uniqueness stamped and signed CORAL NORD.
