Sciacca coral has a very unique and fascinating history: it is subfossil coral deposited on the seabed for several millennia off the coast of the city of Sciacca in the Province of Tapani, in Sicily.
>In the 1875 this immense coral reef was accidentally discovered: in the following years large quantities of this semi-fossil coral were collected.
>Deposited for thousands of years at the bottom of that volcanic sea, it has undergone color variations ranging from dark salmon to light pink with some burnt brown zoning, characteristics that make it rare and unique in the world today.

I made the closure, in 925 / °° silver, o in oro 750/°°, entirely by hand in my workshop, with traditional tools.
The threading is made of high-resistance six-strand synthetic thread, also made in my laboratory.

In case of choice of gold frame, I will remake the same frame of adequate thickness in yellow gold.
