After two years of pandemic, where we had to close ourselves to the world, I wanted to create this new series of pendants inspired by the sacred scarabs of ancient Egypt, as a symbol of rebirth and a better future.

In the culture of ancient Egypt, the scarab was a symbol of resurrection and eternal rebirth in becoming and transforming, ensuring only happy events and a constant improvement of the intuitive and spiritual faculties. With this jewel I wanted to associate the amber,  gem of recognized crystal therapy therapeutic properties, to the scarabeo, symbol, since ancient times, of resilience and rebirth.

I engraved this pendant using beautiful natural Mexican amber of a warm, dark honey color, and I forged the passerby in yellow gold. All, as always, handmade in my workshop with traditional equipment.

Mexican Amber is found in the state of Chiapas in southern Mexico, and it was already known at the time of the ancient Mayan and Aztec civilizations. Amber from Chiapas is a fossilized resin of prehistoric leguminous forests which over the millennia has taken on the color and characteristics that distinguish it.

Together with the Scarabeo I will send a leather cord with golden finishes to be able to show it up as soon as possible.

ATTENTION: Amber, being totally natural, It has various inclusions and cracks, also visible in the photos, which do not compromise the stability of the jewel.
