Grande amber pendant natural yellow baltic, tagliata a forma di goccia stilizzata con inclusioni vegetali. Ho ricavato questa goccia tagliando ambra grezza proveniente dalla regione del Mar Baltico.

The Baltic Amber (mineralogical name: succinite) it is one of the most important and ancient fossilized resins, has at least 40 millions of years. Proviene, come dice il nome, dai paesi che si affacciano sul mar Baltico, quali Polonia Russia e Lituania. Altri giacimenti sono stati ritrovati anche in Danimarca e nei paesi della Penisola Scandinava , come Svezia e Finlandia. Grazie ai suoi colori caldi e attraenti è il tipo d’ambra più conosciuto sul mercato.

I forged the setting of this amber and gold pendant in 750 / °° yellow gold making a tube loop of approx. 8 mm diameter for the passage of a chain or cord. The tube is pivoted and jointed to amber and helps to make the pendant a unique piece like all my jewels.

All my jewels are handmade in my workshop with traditional equipment.
