Nuovo pendente in avorio di mammouth e oro.

After various simplification studies of and stylization of shape, I have carved this new pendant in mammouth ivory depicting a manta ray , with tail and loop in 750 / °° yellow gold.

L’avorio di mammouth viene scavato nel permafrost siberiano ( dating back to the ice age) , and has from 10.000 a 100.000 years of age. This 'fossil' ivory is free trade and does not require any certificate, as it does not belong to an endangered species; I purchase small fragments of fangs that have no archaeological value, and which are used to create jewelry and jewelry.

L’avorio è stato parzialmente combusto sul dorso per raffigurare il mantello scuro della Manta. Any imperfections, (small cracks or spots) are characteristics of the authenticity of the material.

Parts in 750 °° yellow gold, as always they are handmade in my workshop, with traditional tools, piece by piece. To complete the pendant, I also provide a 1mm thick leather cord for immediate wearing.
